His eminence Malcolm Cardinal Ranjith stated earlier today that he doesn’t think that it is an appropriate time to hold the general election.
“Given that there’re 238 patients reported so far and thousands in quarantine centers, we have not been able to contain this yet. If we don’t find a single patient for a considerable period of time, then only I think that will be an appropriate time to hold the election”, he further said.
